Retreat FAQ
When do I get to sign up for The Lotus Retreat in Joshua Tree?
Retreat enrollment is currently open! Ready to claim your spot? Join us here!
Why is there a difference in pricing?
Pricing of your room, food, and retreat experience is based on the type of accommodation! There’s an option for a private room, single beds in a shared space, or shared bed! This retreat is suggested for anyone okay with meeting new friends or sharing space with new individuals in this experience.
What if I want a private room?
Great question! Our private room is SOLD OUT, but fill out the interest form , include in the comments that you are interested in the private room rate $2444, and we can definitely set that up for you! This option will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Not sure if you can make it?
There’s only 11 spots available and you can always cancel after you have signed up! At least you secure your favorite room choice while you think details over. You have until April 1, 2025 to get your $500 security deposit back, if this retreat experience is something you will make happen regardless of how.
Is it all-inclusive? Food? Type of meals?
Yes! The only thing not included is transportation and anything you purchase in town (local shops, lattes)! Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Morning Matcha, and other refreshments are included! You are not stranded in the dessert! :) We will take care of you for your weekend with us! This is a retreat—a journey for you.
It’s going to be hot.
Yes! We understand that this retreat is during the season where Joshua Tree is really hot. While this retreat is in this beautiful area, the property we are staying at—Cactus Moon Retreat—has multiple spaces indoors. This includes our own detached yoga studio on the property for us to use! We will also be providing constant ways to stay hydrated and cool—electrolytes, fresh fruit, and more in abundance.
What if I have never meditated before?
Join us! Everyone is welcome. Even if you have never meditated before, you have us as your guides to ask questions throughout your time on your retreat. Meditation is a practice which means the more you do it, the more your mind will get to practice focusing on elements such as your breathe. Anyone who tells you that you “have to achieve silence in your mind” in your meditation, is missing the opportunity of the practice.
Are we doing yoga and sound meditation classes all day?
Not at all. Yes, this is a yoga and sound meditation retreat focusing on the seven chakras, but there is time and space in between to wonder, get curious about what you are learning, what is coming up for you in real time, and time to connect with yourself and others. That’s where the magic happens!
